Manchester United v Portsmouth Preview

United take on Portsmouth today at Old Trafford, three points behind Arsenal who beat Newcastle 3-0 last night. Earlier on in the season United and Pompey drew but the main talking point was Cristiano Ronaldo's red card for a headbutt (or in this case, not a headbutt). The last thing United need today is getting one of our main players sent off.
United need three points to go back to the top of the Premier League, above Arsenal on goal difference.
Pompey havent beaten United at Old Trafford for 50 years but stats are there to be broken.

Goal Scorers:
Cristiano Ronaldo is almost expected to score today after he has scored 25 goals so far this season. Wayne Rooney and Carlos Tevez are both perfectly capable of scoring aswell. Sunday saw the return of Paul Scholes and we all no what he can do.

Milan Baros will probably make his debut for Pompey and he could be a big danger. Benjani is also a massive threat to the United goal but we do have a strong defence even without the doubtful Nemanja Vidic.

Squads:

Man Utd: Van der Sar, Kuszczak, Brown, O'Shea, Simpson, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Fletcher, Nani, Park, Scholes, Ronaldo, Anderson, Carrick, Hargreaves, Giggs, Rooney, Tevez.

Portsmouth: James, Johnson, Campbell, Distin, Hreidarsson, Davis, Diarra, Mendes, Kranjcar, Benjani, Baros, Pamarot, Lauren, Hughes, Aubey, Mvuemba, Songo'o, Begovic.
