Evra Charged With Improper Conduct

Defender Patrice Evra has been charged with improper conduct today, this is over what happened in the Chelsea match last season at Stamford Bridge. If you can't remember what happened, then you can click here.
Chelsea's groundman has also been charged, he has been charged with using abusive language aggravated by reference to nationality/race.

Apparently United's players refused to move whilst warming down, which they were perfectly entitled too.

If race was brought into it then I would thoroughly defend Evra because if the boot was on the other foot then I would probably do the same thing.

"The charges are the result of a thorough investigation conducted by the FA over the last three months," an FA statement read. "In bringing the charges, the FA used video evidence, CCTV footage and various witness statements from individuals present."

If Evra is found guilty then he could be fined or banned.

Rio Ferdinand was also accused of accidently kicking a female steward and he has been reminded of his responsibilities to the game.

One Response so far.
