Manchester United v Hull Review

What a match it was yesterday, we had an early goal and in the end we were just hanging on to all three points and that wasn't the only good news- Arsenal lost 2-1 to Stoke and Liverpool lost last minute against Spurs- couldnt have happened to a nicer team could it?

Back to the Manchester United match, three minutes into the match and we went 1-0 up against Hull with a goal from Cristiano Ronaldo. We were 1-0 up inside three minutes so many minds were thinking how many are we going to put past Hull?

The lead didn't last long, Hull were given a freekick after a 'softish' foul by Nemanja Vidic. Dawson delivered the ball in and Cousin was there to head the ball into the back of the net to make it 1-1, game on.

Six minutes after Hull's equaliser and we were in the lead again after fit again Michael Carrick was put through by Berbatov and his low shot hit the post and went in past Myhill, 2-1 United.

Throughout the first half, ManUnited were playing some fantastic football but there was to be one more goal just before half time, luckily it was for Manchester United. Cristiano Ronaldo had his second goal after he rose higher than the Hull defender from Nani's corner and United went into the break 3-1 up.

Just before the hour mark it looked like it was game over, ManUnited had another corner and Nemanja Vidic was there to score his first goal of the season and put United 4-1 up but it wasn't game over quite yet.

It was looking like we were going to get the fifth goal, we had some fantastic chances, Ronaldo had two to get himself a hatrick which would have only been his second in a Manchester United shirt.

69 minutes in and Hull had their second goal of the game to make the score 4-2. Mendy chipped the ball over Edwin Van Der Sar and at first it looked like Vidic managed to get the ball off the line in time but the referee's assistant/linesman correctly gave the goal.

It looked like only a matter of time before Rooney was going to get himself a goal but it wasn't to be, Ronaldo put Rooney through with a fantastic piece of skill and looking in the wrong direction
The match was at 4-1 with not long to go but that was no way near the end of the game, Hull had their third goal with eight minutes to go- Ferdinand fouled Mendy in the penalty area and a penalty was correctly given. Former Manchester City player Geovanni stood up and scored the penalty at the Stretford End to give Hull their third and the match was set at 4-3 to Manchester United.

The only disappointing thing that came out of the match yesterday was that we were 4-1 up and we nearly mucked it up, the way we let in the two goals to give Hull a chance was a shame but it would have been worst if we had lost the match.

From now on in, Hull were all over us and we just managed to hang on and claim all three points, which took us up to third in the the Premier League table.

Next up is Celtic which is followed by a game against Arsenal.
