Man United v Middlesbrough Preview

Manchester United now have three games in hand over Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool after Arsenal and Liverpool won today but Chelsea drew 2-2 with Fulham which means that if we win all of our three games in hand (which are against Middlesbrough, Fulham and Wigan) then we will go two points ahead of Chelsea and one point behind Liverpool.

The Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate wants to see the best from his big name players tomorrow and if they want to get anything out of the match then they will have to perform at Old Trafford tomorrow.

Man United will be without Rio Ferdinand tomorrow who has been suffering with back spasms (which are extremly painful, I have only ever seen my dad cry once and that was when he had back spasms) for around 10 days which will mean that he will probably miss next weekends FA Cup match against Southampton.

Patrice Evra is still suspended, only another three games to go.

David Wheater will be back for Boro but they will be without Didier Digard who has been ruled out until next year (which is only a few days away).

This is Man United's final match of the year so hopefully we can end the year on a high.
