Was it really Almunia that played against Manchester United last night? He saw a totally different match to what the rest of us saw. Almunia believes that last night Arsenal showed that they can beat Man United.
Almunia said: "1-0 in this stadium is not that bad a result because there are not that many teams who play here and go away with a clean sheet.
"We expected them to start with a high tempo but in the second half we showed that if Arsenal can keep the ball, then we can beat them.
"We have to be more or less happy and look forward to the second leg at the Emirates.
"It is our last chance to do something this year, so we will try to put all of the pressure on Manchester United and the fans will help as well."

At what point in the match did Arsenal show they can beat us? Fair enough, they can't be as bad as they were last night when we play next week and I do believe that they can beat us. I don't understand when he possibly thinks that Arsenal played well.
I thought Almunia was a hero, if it wasn't for him, Arsenal would have a lot more catching up to do.....
Hi Kat, thanks for your comment. Almunia was Arsenal's hero but at no point did Arsenal ever look like they could score a goal against us and I don't quite know what he is talking about.
