Tonight Manchester United play their game in hand over Liverpool against Wigan at the JJB Stadium, the same place where we won the Premier League title last season. Man United have three games left to play in the season and we only need four points to win the title.
Manchester United and Wigan have played seven Premier League matches against each other and Man United have won all seven.
Man United may be without two central defenders (Rio Ferdinand and Jonny Evans) but they will both face late fitness checks so hopefully at least one of them will be fit.
Paul Scholes, Michael Carrick and Wayne Rooney are expected to return to the starting line-up. Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to start as well after his tantrum after being substituted on Sunday against Manchester City.
Wigan have injury problems of their own, they are without striker Amr Zaki who has a knee injury. Their goalkeeper Chris Kirkland who is struggling to be recover from a back injury, Richard Kingston is expected to deputise.
Wigan defender Paul Scharner is also a doubt after he picked up an injury during training.
Wigan are currently in 11th place in the Premier League table so they don't really have much to play for, they may have a former Man United player managing the club but they won't roll over. Wigan will put up a fight and try and get a point or three. Most people are predicting a Man United win but it won't be that easy.
I do expect a United win, maybe a 2-1 or 3-1 win. That would be good enough to take us six points ahead of Liverpool.
in fact, MU win 2-1 from the Wigan.... congrats MU!
