Wolves Vs Man United

Football - Hull City v Wolverhampton Wanderers Barclays Premier League
Man United have the opportunity to go two points clear of Chelsea in the Premier League table with a win over Wolves at Molineux.

Earlier on in the season when Wolves visited Old Trafford, Mick McCarthy fielded a weakened team, which resulted in a £25,000. With Wolves hovering just above the relegation zone, there will be no weakened team tomorrow.

Wolves have a fully fit squad apart from Dave Edwards and Michael Kightly who are both out with injuries.

Man United will have Rio Ferdinand back alongside Nemanja Vidic. That’s the good news, the bad news is that Michael Owen is out for the season. Jonny Evans, Anderson, Owen Hargreaves, Ryan Giggs and John O’Shea are also out.

Rafael da Silva and Wayne Rooney are both doubtful after picking up slight injuries. Luis Nani is back from a three game suspension.

Tomorrow’s referee is Merseyside’s Chris Foy, who has refereed 27 matches this season, in which he has shown 76 yellow cards and five red cards.

Foy has refereed four Man United matches so far this season- United’s 2-2 draw against Chelsea in the Community Shield (we lost on penalties), the 2-0 win in the League Cup against Barnsley, the 1-0 loss to Leeds in the FA Cup and United’s 3-1 win over Arsenal in the League.

Foy has also refereed four Wolves matches- their 2-0 loss to West Ham, the 2-2 draw at Stoke, their 2-1 win over Bolton and the 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace in the FA Cup.

Predicted Man United starting XI- Edwin Van Der Sar, Gary Neville, Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand, Patrice Evra, Antonio Valencia, Michael Carrick, Paul Scholes, Luis Nani, Dimitar Berbatov and Mame Biram Diouf.

Predicted scoreline- Wolves 1-3 Man United

  1. Manchester United travel to Wolves looking to leapfrog Chelsea at the top of the Premier League table. The bad news to Fergusen is Rooney may in doubts, suffered from a knee injury. The in-form England forward contributed almost half of the goals of the team in this season. If Rooney is fit to play at the last, surely a comfy win by 2 goals to Manchester United.
