Man United have Boxing Day off as they play Hull City at the KC Stadium on the 27th December. There could be a few defensive players returning for Man United, most notably Nemanja Vidic.
Hull may be without midfielder Nick Barmby as he picked up a slight calf strain against Arsenal. Jimmy Bullard and Ian Ashbee are out injured, other than that all of Hull’s players are fit to play.
Man United may have Vidic, Fabio da Silva, Rafael da Silva and Ryan Giggs fit for the game. Wes Brown may be fit and is more likely to start on the bench.
Jonny Evans, Rio Ferdinand, Edwin Van Der Sar, Owen Hargreaves, Luis Nani, Gary Neville, John O’Shea and Federico Macheda are all still out injured.
There is a very good chance that Chelsea will get all three points on boxing day when they play away to Birmingham. Chelsea are also on a bad run of form but they do seem to be getting the luck.
The last match Man United played is a forgettable one for United fans. A terrible, embarrassing loss to Fulham will hopefully be corrected with a win.
Expected Man United starting XI- Tomasz Kuszczak, Rafael da Silva, Patrice Evra, Nemanja Vidic, Fabio da Silva, Antonio Valencia, Darren Fletcher, Michael Carrick, Ryan Giggs, Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov.
Predicted scoreline- Hull 1-3 Man United
