The 21-year old joined Man United in January 2008, unfortunetly his time will most be remembered for the injury he suffered against Middlesbrough in the League Cup in 2008.
According to Santos’ website, Possebon has said: "It is a pleasure to be at a club like this. It is a unique opportunity and I will work hard to give my best here. I hope to play a lot of football."

Possebon only managed to make eight appearances for the first team, five of which were after coming on off the bench. Possebon went out on loan to Sporting Braga at the start of the 2009/10 season but returned to United in January 2010 after only making one appearance.
