Owen Hargreaves, Ritchie de Laet and Bebe have all been left out of Man United’s Champions League squad. If United qualify out of their group, they could be registered to play from February.
Clubs are allowed to name a maximum of 25 players in ‘List A’.
United’s List A is: Edwin Van der Sar, Tomasz Kuszczak, Gary Neville, Patrice Evra, Jonny Evans, Rio Ferdinand, Wes Brown, Chris Smalling, Nemanja Vidic, John O'Shea, Luis Nani, Anderson, Ryan Giggs, Park Ji-Sung, Michael Carrick, Paul Scholes, Darren Fletcher, Antonio Valencia, Darron Gibson, Dimitar Berbatov, Wayne Rooney, Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez, Michael Owen and Gabriel Obertan.
An unlimited number of players, under 21 can be named on ‘List B’ but they must have been at the club for two years.
United’s List B: Amos, Fabio da Silva, Rafael da Silva, Corry Evans, Oliver Gill and Federico Macheda.
