Manchester United have been fined £25,000 by the FA after the Tottenham match for receiving seven yellow cards. United have been automatically fined because when a team picks up six or more yellow cards then the club are fined.
If six or more of their players be booked again in a single match this season then United would face a £50,000 fine.
The ref was very card happy during the match, Rooney was booked for unsporting behaviour, Tevez waas booked for his celebration, Van Der Sar was booked for dissent after the Spurs goal, Nani was correctly booked for unsporting behaviour, Ronaldo was booked for dissent (i am sure it is his fourth so the next yellow means a one match ban), Brown was booked for unsporting behaviour and Vidic was yellow carded for unsporting behaviour

This is what Ferdinand had to say:

"I thought they were fortunate with their goal. It was handball and how the linesman didn't see it I will never know," Ferdinand told the Manchester Evening News.
"I was behind it and I could see it and I don't know how the linesman didn't. That's why I was remonstrating with him.
"I thought he handled it. Owen (Hargreaves) would have cleaned up if he hadn't hit the ball with his hand and then it led to the cross and the goal."
Never-say-die
United's draw allowed title rivals Arsenal to move two points clear at the top of the table, but Ferdinand believes that the Old Trafford outfit's 'never-say-die' spirit will prove crucial in the race for the Premier League crown.
"The only positive was that Chelsea drew and didn't get anywhere nearer to us," Ferdinand added.
"We'd like to be top of the table but we are still in a good position to strike.
"I think it was a point gained at White Hart Lane if you look at it and the way the game panned out.
"We are a never-say-die team and you never know what will happen. We had to
show grit and determination. You need that spirit if you want to win things."
