Manchester United v Liverpool Review

After United beat Liverpool 3-0, Chelsea have beaten Arsenal 2-1 which takes them a point over Arsenal and five behind United.
The United match wasnt a good match but we did deserve the win overall. Brown scored in the first half, just before half time Mascherano was sent off for Liverpool with a second yellow card. In the second half the portugese stars Ronaldo and Nani secured the points for United.
The match has been over shadowed by the Mascherano sending off but he throughly deserved his sending off.
Fergie's View:
"He was booked and then kept badgering the referee,"
"It was a really good performance, a performance of maturity - they've really hit the high peak,"
"But the title race is going right to end of the season because Chelsea and Arsenal are playing very well."
"It's always nice to beat Liverpool. We tried to play the game as we saw it and I'm delighted with the win.
"I don't think the sending-off changed the game too much. At the end the of the match Liverpool were tired but during the game we always looked comfortable."

Benitez's View:
"Mascherano was surprised at the decision because he thought he said nothing wrong," said Benitez.
"Ryan Babel heard everything and told me Mascherano was just asking why Fernando Torres had been booked."
"He reacted like he did because he was surprised - I was telling him calm down. However, he made a mistake though by approaching the referee."
"After the sending-off the game was over."

"Sometimes keepers make mistakes - these things happen."
