Rooney to leave Manchester United?

It looks like United striker Wayne Rooney will not be leaving Manchester United. Rooney has said that the Premier League is the best leagie in the world and that he intends to stay at United for the rest of his career, which obviously is fantastic news for everyone associated with Manchester United.

So far this season United have lost five matches and these five matches were the matches that Rooney didnt play in, which just shows how important he is.
Rooney told the DailyMirror:

"Our game in England has improved so much in the past few seasons"
"We've proved we have the best league in the world, which is why we're able to attract the best players in the world.
"It's down to English players if they decide to play abroad but for me, English football is the best. I love playing here and I'm pretty sure that will never change."

Rooney also talked about the Champions League (United beat Lyon on tuesday to go onto the next round)
At this stage of the competition whoever you get will be difficult,"
"I think it would be nice if all the English teams could stay apart and go further.
"It would be better for English football if we all progress. It would be a shame if we drew each other in the quarter-finals. We know they are good teams so if we did get one of them, it would be tough."

Last season United went out to AC Milan, here is Rooney's view (Arsenal became the first English team on tuesday to beat Milan at the San Siro)
"It's always difficult to go there, but it was a difficult situation for Milan too, because they were always going to be in trouble if they conceded a goal," said Rooney.
"But there's no denying it's a good result for Arsenal."

Rooney's View on the United squad:
"We brought good players in last summer, the squad is bigger and we don't have many injury problems," he said.
"Anderson and Nani have come in and been brilliant. But I think the main thing is that we're enjoying our football. That's why we are going well."
