Simpson loaned out

United youngster Danny Simpson has been loaned out to Ipswich for the rest of the season. Simpson is 21 years old and he is seen as the next Gary Neville.
This move shows that Fergie is confident with his squad and the players he has available. Both Silvestre and Neville played in the 4-1 win reserve match against City. Simpson has played a part in eight matches for United this season but with the captain getting closer to a first team return, Fergie thinks it is best for Simpson, i agree, do you?

"It is good for the lad," said Sir Alex Ferguson. "The boy needs games and I have allowed him to go to Ipswich Town until the end of the season. They are a good football team and that will suit him fine."
