On sunday United have to beat Wigan, we must assume that Chelsea will beat Bolton, they arent going to loose to Bolton, i cannot see that happening at all especially with Chelsea's home record.
There have been reports that Wigan are going to take it easy but Steve Bruce has squashed those rumours- if Wigan beat United they will move up 2 places and that will earn them an extra £1.5 million.
Steve Bruce said: "We've got to be professional and we will be. The difference between finishing two places in the Premier League these days is almost £1.5 million,"
If Wigan , who currently lie 13th, beat United and Newcastle United lose at Everton, they would finish 12th, earning them £6.4m in prize money. But if the Wigan lose they could finish as low as 15th and net £2.1m less.
I personally havent doubted that Wigan will make a game of it, but if we have to win then i think we will win. It is just Chelsea trying to put pressure on Wigan to put a performance in. But i dont care less about what Chelsea think.
