Rio Ferdinand has been voted as the Manchester United player of the month on the clubs official website for April. Ferdinand had 40 per cent of almost 10,000 online votes.

Ronaldo was second with 18 per cent of the votes followed by both Tevez and Hargreaves with 14 per cent each.

Paul Scholes had the goal of the month for April for the winning goal against Barcelona with a massive 74 per cent of the votes.
