I dont think that Sir Alex Ferguson will be retiring from Manchester United anytime soon nor does former United ace Roy Keane.
Keane is convinced Fergie will win the double in Moscow and he won't rest until he's toppled Liverpool's record haul of European Cups and League titles.
On sunday we won the Premier League title and that took us upto 17 league titles, Liverpool have 18 league titles BUT they have never won the Premier League title, what a shame.
If we win next wednesday in Moscow we will be European Champion's for the third time but Liverpool have been European Champion's five times.
We arent too far behind them but we are still a much more popular, bigger and better club than Liverpool so no need to worry United fans, we will knock them of their perch soon enough!!!
Keane said: "I think the manager (Ferguson) said it himself...his target was to knock Liverpool off their perch. He's done that in terms of winning Leagues but I think, don't worry, he'll be wanting to win European Cups as well.
"So the thing is to catch up with Liverpool next. They've won it five times. They're the target that Alex Ferguson set at United when he first got the job. If they were to win it then it would be the third time they'd won the European Cup. Arsenal have never won it. Chelsea have never won it. It's very tough in Europe because you're competing against some very good teams.
"To win the European Cup you need that little bit of luck. I have to say that I think that Man United have lacked that over the years, with decisions going against the team. But this year they're in the final and they've got a hell of a chance."
"What drives him on? Winning. What else is there? What else drives you on? It's winning. He has his teams playing some great stuff like Arsenal but they've got the balance about right.
"They win trophies and play in an entertaining way. But that's what you expect at Man United. At big clubs it's a major shock and disappointment if they don't win titles.
"Why is the club motivated by winning in Europe? It's about being the best. When you're the best in England, then you want to be the best in Europe .
"For a club like Man United that should go without saying. That's what you're in the game for. If you're the manager you've got to be winning titles.
"I don't think anyone should be sitting here surprised that they have won this season. I've said they should have given them their medals ages ago!
"The best team always wins the league and United have been the best team. United are the best team in the league and well done to them for that.
"It's always a good achievement but, when you're playing for Man United, winning League titles should be expected and not necessarily celebrated too much."
Keane has also paid tribute to former team-mate Ryan Giggs:
"If you want to show any young up-and-coming player an example as to how to look after yourself and be hungry for success then you would certainly have Giggs up there and he deserves a lot of credit for that.
"He's a great professional and a top player."
