On sunday afternoon either Manchester United or Chelsea will win the Premier League, i have been thinking recently about what will happen on the day because someone will need to lift the trophy and United and Chelsea will be playing no way near each other.
What apparently is going to happen is that Manchester United will have the real trophy on stand by at the JJB Stadium when we play Wigan (i am assuming that is because we have the advantage of having a massive goal difference).
Whilst at Stamford Bridge Chelsea will have a 'fake' trophy, obviously if they do win the Premier League they will get the real trophy.
"The practical difficulties of the title race going into the final day of the season means that a Premier League trophy will be on standby at both the JJB Stadium and Stamford Bridge," a spokesman confirmed.
So what do you think? Personally i dont think that the fake trophy will be used.
I hope Chelsea lift the fake trophy!
I wonder if there are 2 (or more) fakes so the real item is never at risk when paraded around the pitch?
Thats a good point, i hope that there arent more fakes but i dont think there are.
I disagree that the real trophy is bring to JJB Stadium.. The real trophy should be send to Stamford Bridge, because Chelsea is the one who lift it... haha
Hi zahar, thanx for commenting. The title race is alot closer than people are making out but i think that the only reason it will be at the JJB is because of United's goal difference.
We will find out on sunday!!!!
Bring it on
