It is thought that Carlos Queiroz has left Manchester United for the Portugese National job last night. A £1.5million compensation package has been agreed and we are now looking for a new assistant manager.
Former United striker Brian McClair, academy director at Old Trafford, is the favourite but other names have been banded around such as Cantona- who is the fans favourite.
I haven't seen anything official yet on the clubs website but im pretty sure Queiroz will be leaving which is a shame because I thought he was a great number two who was instrumental in the Nani, Ronaldo and Anderson transfers.
