Peterborough v Manchester United: Pre-Season Review

Peterborough United v Manchester United - Pre Season Friendly

Last night Manchester United took on Peterborough at London Road, which Ferguson came out of the match top dog? Sir Alex Ferguson or Darren Ferguson?

United put out a fairly strong line-up which included Nani, Tevez, Brown, Ferdinand and Evra.

Peterborough put in a great performance but it was an unlucky goal which put United in the lead just before half time.
R.Martin, who was making his debut for Peterborough, chested the ball back to his keeper, from a cross by Gray. The ball went straight past his keeper and into the back of the net.

The second goal was a stunner, United's eigth and final substitute Gibson, had been on the field for under a minute when he smashed the ball (from Lee Martin's pass) straight into the back of the net from around 30 yards out. This goal put a smile on Sir Alex's face.

I was happy with United's performance and Peterborough's.
Kuszczak was in goal for most of the match and he was definetly tested, one of the saves he made was from a point blank header.

Bring on Juventus.
