This weeks Player Of The Week is youngster Danny Welbeck.
Danny Welbeck was born on the 26th November 1990, he was born in Manchester.
He has only made one competitive appearance for Manchester United which was against Middlesborough in the Carling Cup on the 23rd September, which United won 3-1 with goals from Ronaldo, Giggs and Nani.
Welbeck did play for Manchester United whilst they were out in Saudi Arabia, he did miss a last minute penalty.
Danny Welbeck is a highly promising forward who has starred for the academy and reserves. He got 9 goals in 14 starts for the Academy in 2007/08 and seven goals in 11 starts for the Reserves.
Welbeck has also played internationaly, he represented England at youth level, scoring at the Under-17s World Championships in Korea in summer 2007 before joining the squad for the Under-19s European Championships a year later.
