O'Shea joined Manchester United in 1988, making his debut on the 13th October 1999 away at Aston Villa. Since then O'Shea has made 297 appearances for United, scoring 12 goals but some of them have been extremly important, e.g. the late winner against Liverpool in the Premier League.
It's not only Manchester United that he has played for, he has been out on loan at Bournemouth and Royal Antwerp but he has also played for his country- Republic Of Ireland.
O'Shea made his international debut for the Republic of Ireland on 15 August 2001, when he came on as an 84th minute substitute at home to Croatia, but things didnt go too well, O'Shea gave away a penalty in injury time, Croatia scored and the match ended 2-2.
O'Shea has now won over most of the Manchester United fans with his great goalkeeping and important goals.
