The fallout from last nights defeat to Derby has started and it looks like after that dreadful performance from the Manchester United team that it is Luis Nani who is getting most of the flack from the supporters.

Firstly I would like to state that every single Man United player possibly apart from Vidic had a terrible night last night so it isn't fair for Nani to take all of the blame but supporters opinions on Nani isn't just on that match.

When Nani first arrived at the club he was expected to be the next Cristiano Ronaldo which is not fair on Nani at all because it Ronaldo is quite a player to live up to.

Personally I think that Nani and Anderson were Carlos Queiroz' signings and that is why they came to the club, Queiroz is no longer at Man United, could that be one of the problems? I don't know.

Quite a few of the Man United fans have had enough of Nani, here are some opinions of him taken from the Official Manchester United forum:

Javva says: I am ******** watching Nani so selfish,he is useless,he doesn't pass the ball,he is trying to shine,but he forgets that this is a team game,he must pass the ball when his team mates are in good position.Nani's passing is absolutely horrible,he has no vision at all,he can't see the empty spaces he should see and because of that he can't even make it in the substitutes.He will play only in FA and Carling Cup.

Anderson is young but he is good for teams like Everton and Bolton,he is missing skills,no vision,no passing,only destroying the opposition game and when he plays against top teams he is lacking this only quality as well.

I hate saying bad things about United players but tonight only Vidic showed a bit of desire to win and for that I Love the guy but to see Nani dance around and the respect he gave to the United shirt disgusted me!...He didn't care about tonight!...Now I know it's only the Carling Cup but Inter Milan,Liverpool,Real Madrid,Barcelona etc will be watching this and will have nothing to fear!...We will probably be in the Carling Cup final but god If I see Nani in a United shirt again....

No wonder we bought Tosic...Anything is better then this Ronaldo wannabee!....I won't be happy until he is working down Tesco!

Nani is definitely a frustrating player but he is young and he does need to get used to the English game.

I would love to see him succeed at Old Trafford and if he starts to produce better corners, crosses etc then I think that the supporters will change their minds.

Back onto last nights performance, yes his corners and balls in were awful but Anderson and Tevez were no existent, Gibson didn't feature at all, Rafael was kept quiet, Welbeck didn't really do anything, the defence didn't look solid at all and it was a few good saves and a block by Vidic which saved us for a heavier defeat.

What we need now is a good performance against Chelsea which will hopefully result in a good result, we cannot have two bad performances in a row.

Get behind the team, it isn't a disaster we are only 1-0 down.
