Manchester United Injury Update

Sir Alex has been talking ahead of tomorrows match against Spurs and has revealed the current injury situation.

Harry Redknapp may be choosing a mixed team tomorrow through choice but it looks like we may have to pick some youngsters without having a choice.

Anderson was stretchered off with what looked like a serious leg injury, possibly a break. The good news is that Anderson has had a scan, it isn't broken and he will be out for three weeks.

Nani who also picked up an injury midweek against Derby will be out for tomorrows FA Cup match but he will only be out for a week.

First reports on Jonny Evans were suggesting that he would only be out for a week but the ankle injury he picked up against Derby will keep him out for three weeks.

So, here are the players who are unavailable for the FA Cup match against Tottenham:

Rio Ferdinand, Anderson, Nani, Rafael da Silva, Patrice Evra, Wayne Rooney, Wes Brown, Jonny Evans and Ji-sung Park.

The good news is that Rio Ferdinand and Wes Brown will be fit for the Everton match (at Old Trafford) which is currently scheduled to be on the 2nd January but if either teams have to play an FA Cup replay then it will be brought forward to the 31st Jan.
United as you should know play Tottenham and Everton have an easier match which is against Liverpool.
