After a 3-0 win over Fulham last night, Manchester United have gone five points clear in the Premier League. United have had this game in hand ever since the beginning of the Premier League because it clashed with the UEFA Super Cup against Zenit St Petersburg.
Last night's match was probably the most one sided match I have seen in ages. I was impressed with United, If we played like we did yesterday next Tuesday against Inter Milan, we will have a great chance of going through.
The first goal was the fault of Fulham's goalie, Schwarzer. From a corner, Scholes hit a 25 yard volley which went through a crowd of players and at first, I thought he had saved it, but the ball spun out of his hands and into the back of the net.
The second goal was also partly Schwarzer's fault. After 22 passes of the ball, United got their second, after Fulham's goalie and defender got muddled up which allowed Berbatov to slot it into the back of the net.
The final goal was scored by Rooney after only being on the pitch for two minutes into his comeback from injury.
It was damage limitation for Fulham before half time, Fulham haven't won away from home all season, only scoring around three goals.
Fulham did have one or two chances but I can't really remember a shot that troubled Van Der Sar, their best chance fell to Zamora but his shot trickled wide of Van Der Sar's far post.
Last night looked like a training session but the most important thing was that we picked up all three points, we have now played the same matches as Liverpool and Chelsea, we are five points clear and our goal difference is 9 better off than Liverpool.
Things are starting to look good but the title isn't won yet, we still have to play Aston Villa and Liverpool.
Over the next month we have eight games in 25 days, including two Champion's League matches against Inter Milan, a Carling Cup final against Totttenham, a FA Cup Quarter Final match against either Swansea or Fulham and Premier League matches, including Liverpool at Old Trafford.

The agony goes on for us none Man Utd fans :(
How can anyone beat United if they can't even score against them. This is an incredible record they are setting here. Next up is Blackburn Rovers at Old Trafford and I really can't see them scoring either. That will take United to 15 consecutive clean sheets.
