Mourinho: I Made Manchester United

He may have been a Chelsea coach but there is something about Mourinho that always made me laugh and one day I would like to see him return to the Premier League.

Jose Mourinho is never far from controversy, Manchester United face Mourinho's Inter Milan this Tuesday.
Apparently, Jose Mourinho believes that he made Manchester United who they are- It was Mourinho's success at Stamford Bridge that made Man United raise the bar.

I can't help but feel that he is partly right, we did need to step up to the plate to beat Chelsea, which we did and now things have turned. It is Chelsea who now need to raise the bar to beat us to the Premier League title.

The Sun, “When I was in England, Chelsea was the best team between 2004-06. That is why we won two consecutive Premierships.

“Manchester United at that time realised they needed to be better to win it and, in my third season, that’s what they did. And they went on to win the Champions League.

“That has given them so much confidence. They are certainly a better team now than when I was in England.”

Mourinho also went on to speak about his relationship with United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

“I have a great relationship with Sir Alex.

“You know during the game it is going to be a real war. But afterwards there is always happiness and we share some time together. I don’t want that to change, no matter who wins or loses.

“I have so many good memories of facing United. I beat them while with Porto in the last 16, in a Carling Cup semi-final with Chelsea and also at Stamford Bridge to claim our second title.”

It sounds like he has a little soft spot for Sir Alex and Man United doesn't it?
