Manchester United v Fulham, Premier League Preview

Tomorrow Manchester United play the game in hand which they have over rivals Chelsea and Liverpool. If Man United do win we will go five points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

There is some good news for Man United fans, Rooney is back and he will be starting on the bench, he is expected to start against Blackburn this weekend.
Berbatov, Tevez, Carrick and Vidic all missed the win against Derby on Sunday, not because of injury but because they were being rested, they are all expected to return tomorrow.

Johnson and Konchesky both have been suffering from muscle strains so they will have late fitness tests. Fulham are without Etuhu but their new loan signing Dacourt will start in midfield.

Fulham haven't won away from home all season so United should win easily but football is never straight forward so anything could happen.

Another record is getting close to being broken tomorrow, Van Der Sar have currently gone 1,212 minutes without conceding a Premier League goal, that is a UK and British record. If Van Der Sar keeps a clean sheet in this match and 88 minutes of the match against Blackburn then he will have broken the European record. This record is currently held by Dany Verlinden and he kept the ball out of the back of the net from 1,390 minutes for Club Bruges in 1990.
The world record stands at 1,816 minutes by Mazaropi for Vasco de Gama.

Squads:
Man United: Van der Sar, Foster, Kuszczak, Neville, Rafael, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evans, Evra, O'Shea, Ronaldo, Nani, Carrick, Scholes, Fletcher, Giggs, Park, Berbatov, Rooney, Tevez, Gibson, Welbeck.
