This summer get ready for Manchester United and Manchester City to go head to head for Lyon star Karim Benzema.

The 21-year-old is known to want continued Champions League football but it isn't just United and City thought to be interested. Real Madrid and Barcelona are also interested in signing him.

Lets go back to City and United. We all know that Manchester City could out bid United, they could outbid anyone but if the players wants to play football not just for the money then he would choose United over City.

The only thing that City can offer players such as Benzema and Kaka is money, they aren't going to be in the Champion's League next season and probably not for quite a few years.

Manchester United can offer Benzema- Champion's League football, chance of winning trophies, good wages and most importantly a chance to play alongside some of the best footballers in the world.

When I put it like that, it isn't a hard choice is it?

If Lyon are willing to let Benzema go then United would have to worry more about Barcelona and Real Madrid, most players want to play in La Liga sometime in their lives, plus the weather is a lot nicer.
