Arsene Wenger has said what every Man United supporter knew. Yesterday Manchester United looked tired. Liverpool didn't have to play in a FA Cup match a week before, so they had the weekend off, they played Real Madrid on the Tuesday which meant that they had an extra day to prepare.

I knew this was coming, over the past few games Man United have looked tired and complacent, hopefully this will kick start the players again.

“It is, yes. I think Man United have played many games since January and today they looked a little bit jaded,” said Wenger.

"You could see that Liverpool didn’t play in the FA Cup last week and they had a good opportunity to refresh before playing Real Madrid and Man United. Plus they had one more day than Man United did.

“You could see when the experienced United players make mistakes it is down to fatigue.”


I still feel disappointed in yesterday's result and probably will until we play Fulham next Saturday but I believe that if we had the same rest that Liverpool did, we would have beaten them.
