Gary Neville's Shrubbery

Manchester United captain Gary Neville has upset his neighbours by having 18 foot by ten foot shrubbery which spell out MUFC on his embankment infront of his mansion.
Locals don't seem to happy about it though: “The design of the property is self indulgence but to have a shrubbery shaped in the letters of his football club is beyond belief.
And the local wants Neville to be normal, how can footballers be normal? “Why can’t he grow normal privet hedges like everyone else. This was once a traditional old farming community and now it looks like something out of Beverley Hills.”

Come off it, what is the big deal? This local sounds a bit like a snob to me and he definitely doesn't sound like a Man United supporter, possibly a jealous rival supporter.

If it is on his property then what is the big deal?

I don't live in the locality but find this offensive..... wait a minute if you look closely it is covered in bird s**t, so it is ok :)

I'm a United fanatic, but I still think that good old Gary needs a few hints on good taste in gardening.
