Real Madrid To Call Off Ronaldo Hunt?

It looks like we might be coming to the end of the Real Madrid/Cristiano Ronaldo saga and it is about time. Rumours in Spain. Florentino Perez could replace Ramon Calderon during the summer and rumours are that they don't get on.

It is thought that Perez isn't happy with the way that Real Madrid have tried to sign Ronaldo. Perez has been in charge of Real Madrid before, he was the person who signed players such as Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldo and Beckham and he is keen not to do the same thing again.

A Spanish newspaper has said that Real Madrid will shy away from the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo and instead focus his attention on signing AC Milan's Kaka.

Over the past few days there has been much speculation about Ronaldo's future which I haven't talked about because the whole situation is broadcast a bit too much.
Anyway basically what has happened over the past few days is that Ronaldo said he is happy at Manchester United and wants to stay, contract negotiations between Manchester United and Ronaldo have apparently opened. Calderon has said that Ronaldo will join them in the summer and there were rumours that Sir Alex Ferguson signed an agreement last summer which basically said that Ronaldo could leave Manchester United this summer.

I have had enough of this, either Ronaldo should sign a new contract and/or say that he will definitely be playing for United next summer or Real Madrid should keep their mouths shut until the summer then sign him.

Man United aren't a one man club and will live without Ronaldo, he is a fantastic player and I would love him to stay but I don't think I could go through another summer with everything being about Cristiano Ronaldo. It is annoying and boring.
