New Contract For Ronaldo?

Man United are ready to offer Cristiano Ronaldo a record breaking deal, which will make him the Premier League's first player to earn £200,000-a-week and the deal will keep him at United until 2014.

If Man United do offer Ronaldo that amount of money and he signs the deal, Ronaldo will be being paid a massive £10.4 million a year.

Ronaldo's current contract has three years still to run, but according to Fifa rules he would be eligible to buy himself out at the end of the 2009/10 campaign.

I would love Ronaldo to sign a new contract, I he hasn't been 100% forgiven bby many United fans, including me, but he is a worldclass player and wins games which is incredibly important for any team.

Current Premier League top earners [weekly]:
Robinho: £160,000
John Terry: £135,000
Steven Gerrard: £120,000
Wayne Rooney: £115,000
