Another day and another Cristiano Ronaldo story. Manchester United are the latest club that Franck Ribery's agent has said he could join, last week it was Barcelona that Ribery was being linked with.
The Bayern Munich star's agent has said that if Man United sell Cristiano Ronaldo (which in my opinion, isn't going to happen) then Sir Alex would like to sign Ribery to replace him.
I don't watch the Bundesliga (the German League) the only time I would ever watch Ribery play is either in the Champion's League or if he is playing for France. I can say though that I don't think he could ever be a replacement for Ronaldo, I wouldn't really like to see him at Old Trafford when there are other younger players out there.
Ribery's agent told Bild, the paper which had revealed that the Blaugrana would be Ribery's next destination, that Old Trafford could also be an attractive option.
"If Manchester United sells Cristiano Ronaldo, Sir Alex Ferguson would like to cover that transfer with Ribery's signature,"
