Lionel Messi has said exactly what Manchester United supporters have been saying and thinking for ages. Messi has admitted that Carlos Tevez's situation at Manchester United is bemusing and he thinks that Man United should have signed Tevez permanently by now.
Nobody really knows what is going on with Tevez, different "sources" are saying different things but all we can do is wait, probably until June.
"I have no idea why Manchester are letting my countryman go while he is talented enough to be in every team in the world's starting line-up," Messi told reporters at a recent Adidas event in Germany.
Liverpool have apparently made a bid for Carlos Tevez with the whole deal (which includes the transfer fee and Tevez' wages over three years) to be worth around £50 million.
