Man United Sign Five Year Contract

Man United have launched yet another partnership deal, this time is is with Chinese electronics manufacturer Aigo (brand name of Beijing Huaqi Information Digital Technology). Yesterday Man United signed a five year deal with the company.

The company will make and distribute co-branded digital cameras, multimedia players and data storage devices for Man United globally, they will also make mobile phone handsets in China.

"China has always been something of a second home for Manchester United," Man United's commercial director Richard Arnold said during a news conference

"We have been to China on tour five times in the last decade. Now we have found our first Chinese partner to join our family. Some 71 million of our 330 million fans worldwide live in China."
During pre-season Man United will travel to Chine to play Chinese side Hangzhou Greentown whilst competing in the Aigo Cup.

No financial information has been released but I am sure that it is a great deal and yet more money for Man United.
