The Guardian claim that Man United are still after Gremio's Douglas Costa. It is thought that Man United had bid £8million for the youngster but Gremio want £21 million.
Man United are willing to pay an initial fee of £8m for the 18-year-old including various add-ons depending on how successful he is at Man United but Gremio aren't happy with that.
Man United aren't the only team interested in the player, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Villarreal are keen to sign him. Villarreal have submitted a bid of £6m plus add-ons.
The Guardian believe that Costa is interested in a move to England which would put United in a great position but Chelsea could also sign him. It looks like it could fall down to which club would pay the most money and I think that would probably be Chelsea.
Both Man United and Chelsea have told Gremio to slash their asking price. This could drag on.
