Did United Play Anti-Football?

ARSENAL V ATHLETICO MADRIDAfter the 2-1 loss to Man United on Saturday evening, Arsene Wenger has branded Man United’s tactics as anti-football.
Wenger has said that all Man United wanted to do was break up Arsenal’s play, which is apparently worse than Eduardo’s dive against Celtic. For starters diving is cheating, breaking up play isn’t cheating so I don’t see how it is worse.

If you look back at the match stats, Arsenal were shown six yellow cards, Man United were shown three.

There is no doubting that Arsenal were the better team, we were lucky to get all three points but I don’t see what the big deal is.
Why should Man United let Arsenal play the football that they want because it will end up in them winning, aslong as no players are injured or any horrendous challenges then there isn’t a problem.

The match stats were:
                 Man United           stat            Arsenal
                        2                   goals                 1
                        51%           possession         49%
                        3            shots on target       3
                        8            shots off target      6
                        3               yellow cards       6
                       6                  corners             5

I can understand why Wenger is upset, I would be too. Arsenal played United off the pitch in the first half, we were better in the second but at the end of the day we got three points. Wenger should get used to it, teams will do a lot worse to Arsenal the further on the season goes.
Wenger said:
"I have seen a player who plays on the pitch only to make fouls,'' he said. "For me, this is a point that is more urgent than diving.
"The players who are never punished, who get out of the game without a yellow card. I think it is more anti-football than a player who did what Eduardo did.
"Look at how many deliberate fouls some players get away with. That's a bigger problem because it cuts the flow of the game. And people pay to see football, not free-kicks.''
