Liverpool striker Fernando Torres has fired Man United and Chelsea a title warning ahead of the start of the new season tomorrow. Torres has stated that this must be the season that Liverpool will win the Premier League title and that beating Chelsea and Man United is easy.
This is a brand new season and you have to forget about last season’s results against other teams. Teams have lost and bought players (except for Newcastle who are just loosing players) and lots of things will have changed. Man United have lost Cristiano Ronaldo and as a result of that we will have to play a new formation, so you can’t go on last season’s results.
The only reason I can see Torres saying that beating Man United and Chelsea will be easy is to wind us up, so I wouldn’t take any notice of that. I have also got used to Liverpool players (mainly Steven Gerrard) saying that this is their year and that they will win the title. They have a chance but so do other teams and it will be a tight season.
Here is what Torres said:
"We have no problem beating Manchester United or Chelsea but it is games like Sunday's at Tottenham where we need to show our real title intentions.
"Tottenham is not an easy place to go but these are games we must be winning if this is to finally be our year."
"I am not thinking can we win the title, I am thinking we have to win the title.
"We came so close last season but for many of the players it was their first time experiencing the pressure of a Premier League title race."
yup..i agreed wif wut torres said..they have to win n they wil win..=)..go for it liverpool..=)..

Don't just talk rubbish. Just wait and see. Man Utd will win EPL forever..
Hi Anonymous (top one and second one). Thanks for your comment, I take it you are a Liverpool fan, so ofcourse you would agree. Good luck with the season because I believe you will need it.
Anonymous (the other one). Thanks for your comment. I would love to see Man United win the EPL forever but I don't think that will happen. A fourth time in a row would be great though.
