So far this season, Ryan Giggs has been Man United’s most impressive player so far. The bad news is that there is a good chance he will be missing for United’s game against CSKA Moscow in the Champions League this Wednesday.
Giggs picked up a minor injury in United’s 2-1 win over Bolton at the weekend. Defender Patrice Evra will be assessed and is also a doubt because he also picked up a knock against Bolton.
"Ryan Giggs has got a knock and is a doubt for Wednesday," Sir Alex Ferguson told ManUtd.com
"Patrice Evra we'll have to look at tomorrow, he may be a doubt."
There were other doubts for Ferguson as well, particularly up front.
"[Dimitar] Berbatov, I think, will be alright. Wayne Rooney, we've got to try to get ready for Wednesday," he added.
"We'll see him on Sunday. I'm hopeful [Nemanja] Vidic will be alright, but he'll certainly be ready for the Liverpool game."
