Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has ‘warned’ Man United that Liverpool are ready to end their bad run of form against United this Sunday.
After losing to Sunderland at the weekend in the Premier League and loosing against Lyon in the Champions League on Tuesday, Carragher isn’t ready to give up yet.
“Beating United could be just the boost we need. We always bounce back because that’s what we are about,” he said.
“We’ve got a lot of fight and character and will want to show that against United, particularly after what happened against Lyon.
“We’re going through a tough patch but we’ve been through them before and we’ll bounce back, there’s no doubt about that.
“It’s always a great game against United, and that could be what we need. If we win, it’ll give everyone a massive lift.”
There is no way that Liverpool can win the title now, they have lost too many games. To make matters worse for them, it looks like they will be without their star players Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres.
