Police are looking for a man who bit part of a fan’s ear off before the Champion’s League final between Man United and Barcelona last May.
Mobile phone footage of the attack has emerged so police are now looking for the man.
The victim, aged 46, intervened an argument between the attacked and a woman before the game. The attacker then threatened the victim but after that, things calmed down.
The attacker saw the victim inside the ground and bit part of the victims ear off.
The man who they are looking for wore a blue Man United away shirt with DEE and the number 38 on it.
Det Con Alex Robinson from Greater Manchester Police's Force Football Intelligence Unit said:
"The victim had done absolutely nothing to warrant such a vicious attack and has been left permanently scarred by the assault.
"As any decent person would, he simply came to the aid of a woman who was being picked upon by this man outside the stadium but thought that was the end of the matter.
"I am very keen to find this person in order to prevent him from going to any future football matches here or abroad as he is clearly not a football supporter."
