United Fans Told To Stop Arsene Wenger Chant

Man United are urging the fans to stop chanting an offensive song, which is directed at Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger. Man United beat Arsenal on the 29th August this year and TV viewers could hear what the United fans were singing.

Fans should be able to chant about the players and manager but nothing personal and nasty. When it gets personal, that isn’t right and the song in question is very offensive and shouldn’t be sung.

I am not going to repeat the words but for anyone who doesn’t know, it is a paedophilia chant and basically calls Wenger a child molester.

There are nasty chants directed towards Sir Alex Ferguson and Manchester United but I can’t condone what the United fans are singing. It isn’t right and because other teams say stuff about United, it doesn’t make it right.

A United spokesman said: "We have gone on the record several times about this disgusting chant.

"We don't condone it and have appealed to fans several times in the past.

"The club will also tell stewards to take a harder line with fans who ignore the appeal."
