Anderson Ruled Out For Six Months

Football - Manchester United v West Ham United Barclays Premier League
It has been confirmed this morning that Man United midfielder Anderson has ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament, which will sideline him for the rest of the season.

Anderson made his comeback for Man United’s first team on Tuesday against West Ham, which lasted only 16 minutes due to picking up that injury.

Anderson will now miss the rest of the season but Man United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is confident that he will be ready for the start of the 2010/2011 season.

It will come as a major blow for Anderson as well, he would obviously want to be playing for United but it will also see the 21-year old out of the World Cup this summer.
