After winning the match for Man United on Saturday, Arsenal’s Abou Diaby has said that he is unhappy after scoring the own goal. That’s hardly a surprise is it? Why would he be happy after scoring a goal for the opposition’s team?
Diaby headed the ball into the back of his own net from a Ryan Giggs free kick and he has branded the goal as ‘silly’.
"I have to forget it," the 23-year-old told The Sun.
"I made a silly mistake and it's difficult to explain what happened.
"The goalkeeper called out to me to leave the ball, but it's all my fault. Even when I look back at the images I ask myself what happened, and I tell myself that it's just not possible."
To be fair on Diaby, it was a good goal.
