Last night was the Manchester United Christmas Party. Whilts Cristiano Ronaldo was picking up his third place player of the year award some of the other players were out celebrating (without the WAGS).
Before the party there had been much speculation about it and i expected there to be some bad press after it but not this bad.
The team reportedly ate at the Manchester 235 casino, drank at a pub called The Old Grapes pub, which is owned by Coronation Street star Liz Dawn which was followed by a lapdancing club. The United players had also booked the whole of the St. John Street Hotel for the entire night. There were apparently over 100 women there in which none of them were their wives or girlfriends.
Police were called out to the hotel at around 4:15 in the morning because a 26 year old woman has claimed that she had been raped.
Some papers have said that the players were allowed to bring as many guests that they wanted which suggests that the rape might not have involved any of the United players.
"Police are investigating a report of a rape at a hotel in Manchester city centre,” a Greater Manchester Police spokesman said.
"At 4.15am on Tuesday, police were called to the hotel on Great John Street to a report that a 26-year-old woman had been raped. Inquiries are continuing."
Hopefully this can be sorted out as soon as possible and if any of the players were involved with this then i hope the club get rid of the no matter who it was.
