Manchester United's star man Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to be offered a new contract which will see him being the most paid Premier League player. Chelsea's captain John Terry is currently the highest earner and he is being paid £130,000 a week. If Ronaldo signs the new contract it will keep him at United untill 2014 and he will be paid £140,000 a week. Ronaldo signed a new contract last season which keeps him at the club until 2012.
Sir Alex Ferguson apparently will do anything to keep Ronaldo at the club whilst he is manager and personally i dont blame him.
If Ronaldo does sign this new contract then if will be fantastic news for the club and the fans. As far as i am concerned Ronaldo is currently the best player in the world and he can be for many years to come.
