Manchester United have apparently beaten Chelsea and Arsenal to the signing of Aaron Ramsey for £5million.

Fergie is thought to have opened talks about signing him just 24 hours after we had won the Premier League title.

It is thought that the transfer is expected to be officially announced after Cardiff's FA Cup final match at Wembley this saturday.

• He is a welsh footballer who is currently playing for Cardiff
• Ramsey became the youngest player to ever play for Cardiff City, aged just 16 years and 124 days

• Everton, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal are also thought to be interested in him
• In August 2007 he made his debut for the Wales U21 side
• Ramsey was the Wales U17 captain
