There is no doubting that Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov is a class player but do we really need/want him at Old Trafford?

Berbatov has at times been lethal for Spurs during the season but sometimes he looks like he can't be bothered, that could be because he is dreaming about his dream move to Manchester United but I dont think that is the real reason.
Berbatov can seem to be sulky and moody and in my opinion he will be on the bench for quite a bit of the time, would he really want to come to Old Trafford to sit on the bench?

On the other hand Berbatov see's things that other players don't and he is extremly gifted. On his day he can be almost unplayable, we do have other strikers that I think we should give a chance.

New signing- Davide Petrucci, Welbeck, Manucho and possibly Saha, there is Dong but I have seen him a few times and I don't think he is quite upto the Premier League yet.
Most of these players haven't proved themselves in the Premier League, this is mainly due to them being young- we have just signed Petrucci, Manucho couldn't get a work permit so he went on loan, Welbeck was in the Champion's League squad but he didnt play and we all no about Saha, fantastic player but too many injuries.

So, what do you think? Do we really need Berbatov?
