Manchester United v QPR Carling Cup Preview

Tonight Manchester United take on QPR (Queens Park Rangers) in the forth round of the Carling Cup, it is expected to be Manchester United Youngsters v QPR but that wont stop it from being a good match.

Ok so Sir Alex Ferguson is expected to play quite a few of the younger players but I have watched them and they are good players.
Rodrigo Possebon has been promised a starting place after coming back from injury from the previous Carling Cup match against Middlesbrough.
Evans, Rafael Da Silva, Welbeck and Gibson will play for Manchester United. Manucho may play but the rest will be made up of first team players.
It will be interesting to see who Sir Alex picks to play in goal- Foster or Kuszczak?

You may have heard and seen quite a bit about Rafael Da Silva but not heard or seen that much about his twin brother Fabio that is because he is still injured after having an operation on his shoulder and we wont be seeing him tonight.

QPR have been on a good run of form even though they recently parted ways with manager Ian Dowie. QPR are currently 7th in the Championship and they will be without Leigertwood who is currently serving the third game of a four match ban, and Vine who has a broken leg.

Sir Alex Ferguson: “The younger ones who will play will be Jonny Evans, Rodrigo Possebon, Rafael, Darron Gibson, Danny Welbeck… and possibly Manucho. The rest of the team will be filled by the first team squad.”

Manchester United Squad:
Kuszczak, Foster, Amos, Rafael, Evans, Cleverley, O'Shea, Chester, Possebon, Gibson, Hewson, Fletcher, Park, Anderson, Carrick, Nani, Giggs, Welbeck, Manucho, Rooney, Tevez

QPR may be a Championship team but it is a cup game and they will give us a difficult game but after a loss against Arsenal on saturday Ferguson wont want another loss so we will be going all out for a win and hopefully we will get it.
