United Run Riot At Old Trafford

Yesterday's match against Stoke was one of those matches which we could have got as many goals as we wanted. Before the match most of the talk was about Delap's long throws but I can only remember one or two and we dealt with them.

Manchester United were missing Ferdinand, Hargreaves, Brown, Neville, Rooney and Giggs due to injury which meant that O'Shea, Evans and Tevez all had starting places.

Some of Sir Alex's choice of players must have had something to do with the throw-in's, O'Shea, Vidic, Evans, Ronaldo, Fletcher and Carrick are all over 6ft.

Three minutes in and Stoke player Faye fouled Tevez from around 30 yards out, up stepped who else but Ronaldo who hadn't been hitting the freekicks very well recently but it looks like things might have changed. Ronaldo struck the ball which went over the wall and back down in time which troubled the keeper and the ball went into the back of the net to give United a very early lead. This was Ronaldo's 100th goal for ManUnited and it was one worth remembering.

12 minutes in and Delap finally had a throw-in which he could do something with, ManUnited fans booed and Stoke fans just looked on in anticipation. The ball was flicked in on goal but Van Der Sar managed to get it away from the goal.

Throughout the match Stoke fans were taunting Ronaldo who did react a couple of times by putting his finger to his mouth as if he was saying shhhh.

One great goal wasn't enough and we had our second just before the break when Carrick hit a powerful shot into the top corner to give ManUnited a second goal.

ManUnited might have been two goals up but the fans were definitely enjoying themselves, they chanted- "stand up if you beat Arsenal" with ManUnited fans reply was- "You’ve only come to see your throw-ins" it was all in the best spirit.

Second half and we only had to wait four minutes for another goal- Tevez crossed the ball to Berbatov which it hit and he had a bit of luck and managed to control the ball and hit it past Sorenson.

Three of ManUnited's youngsters came on- Gibson, Manucho and Welbeck.
The best goal was yet to come, Welbeck (who is only 17 years old) picked up the ball 35 yards out and hit a amazing shot into the top corner, on his Premier League debut.

Ronaldo had been taunted all through the match but when you taunt him there is only one thing he does and that is score goals, which you would have thought that fans would have realised this by now.
Another freekick, 20 yards out, Ronaldo stepped up and hit it into the bottom corner to give Manchester United a 5-0 win and all three points.

Next up is Aston Villa at Villa Park in the 15:30 KO next Saturday. Aston Villa beat Arsenal 2-0 at the Emirates yesterday so it will definitely be a hard match.

  1. I was happy with the score line but what impressed me most was the fact all five of the goals were QUALITY !

Even though all the Bindippers are moaning Berbatov handled the ball so he is now a cheat, lmao. They have to moan about something as ever, they're probably pissed off we got /Berbatov and they ended up with Blobby Keane.

The goals were fantastic and it was great to see Welbeck score on his Premier League debut/

Who cares what the Bindippers think, Berbatov is much better than Keane and he will prove that.
